Basic use of Markusnet    

Release container and carry it to the spot, release lifting lines and net structure overboard, holding to the outer end of the net. Open and throw the throw-bag in direction of the casualty, allowing for windage as the net is released. Pull lines in as fast as possible allowing though the man overboard to pull the net out to him. Make sure to have straine on the net as the man enters into it in standing position. Allow the man overboard to enter the net in distance from the vessel. Then pull him / her simultaneously on board in seconds.

This Lloyd's Registered approved Markusnet enables one man to react to a man overboard situation in effective and safe manner anywhere along side of the vessel where there is an entrance to a suitable handrail or gunwail and bring a conscious MOB into safety. Make sure it can be used above side doors to ease manual lifting from deck above. Two men can lift a person simultaneously in seconds. One man can lift an average man manually by pulling one lifting line at a time and fasten it. It can also be used by crane.
