The attachement snap hook is to fasten the Markusnet unit to the vessel, both at storage place and rescue spot.

The use of it is important when you are single handed and when ship is rolling in high seas.

Make sure you fasten it to your rescue platform when possible, before you throw the throw-bag or enter water yourself to rescue another person.
