| Lifting-lines. | |
| Two
lifting-lines attached to the inner end corners of the Markusnet enable two to four grown
persons to lift one man manually. Three knot-lines (lifting-lines) enable up to six people at a time to take part in lifting the casualty manually in horizontal position up to 5 metre height. |

| The
lifting-line on the outer end also serve the purpose to cover the freeboard height of the
vessel, when throw-line is used to achieve maximum throw or to secure in-water rescuer. Never try manual lifting of two persons in the net at the same time. It is impossible even for six grown persons together with one line each. You may strain your back and damage it forever. |
